MST wireless Internet service uses microwave radios to
communicate between the tower and your home or business. Once
the information is received at the tower site it is transmitted
by radio back to the MST office and out to the Internet.
With wireless internet access you should be able to get
upload and download speeds comparable to DSL, and even faster in
some cases. Because we are using microwave radios, the signal
is not affected by heavy rain, fog or snow. We see this as a
great advantage over other types of wireless internet access.
However, to obtain maximum signal you must have clear line of
sight between your antenna and the MST tower. This means you need
to be able to see the tower from your home or business.
